Chiang Mai. LOI KRATHON

The Loi Krathong festival is held in the month of November, coinciding with the end of the rainy season, when the monsoons have nourished the lands in prediction of a good harvest.
Originally it was a mixture of various beliefs, so it can be interpreted in different ways. As you can see from the footage in this video, it’s a great festival in which the whole society as well as visitors take part. Sweet memories worth taking home with you.
